Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT)

Poly(hexamethylene adipamide)—commonly known as Nylon-66—is a thermoplastic resin produced through the polycondensation of adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine. It typically has a molecular weight of 15,000 to 20,000 and a melting point range of 150°C to 250°C. The material is insoluble in common solvents, dissolving only in strong proton-donor solvents such as m-cresol; it has a density of 1.09–1.47 g/mL, a boiling point of 452.1°C (at 760 mmHg), and a refractive index (n20/D) of 1.565. It exhibits high mechanical strength, hardness, and rigidity, as well as outstanding flame resistance, with a tensile strength of up to 104 MPa.

Nylon 6 (Polyamide 6), also known as PA6, polyamide 6, or polyamide 6, has the chemical formula (C6H11NO)n, CAS Registry Number 25038-54-4, a melting point of 220℃, and a density of 1.13 g/cm3. It is a polymer compound.
