Product Description
Physical properties:
Density is 1.14–1.15 g/cm³.
Melting point is between 252°C and 267°C; thermal decomposition temperature exceeds 350°C.
Equilibrium water absorption is approximately 2.5%; while water absorption is relatively high, it is reversible, and original properties can be restored after drying.
Key Characteristics:
High mechanical strength; exhibits superior rigidity and heat resistance among polyamide materials.
Excellent wear resistance and self-lubricating properties with a low coefficient of friction, making it suitable for power transmission components.
Resistant to acids, alkalis, and most aqueous inorganic salt solutions, though readily soluble in polar solvents such as phenol and formic acid.
Excellent electrical insulation performance and high volume resistivity, making it an outstanding electrical insulating material.
Processing characteristics:
Processed via injection molding at temperatures ranging from 270°C to 290°C.
Shrinkage is between 1% and 2%; the addition of glass fiber can reduce this to 0.2%–1%.
